Southern Country HoustonSoCoHo, founded in 1991, is a country western dance organization in southeast Texas. As a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, we have a great time while we work to support other local charitable organizations through dance workshops, community service, and fundraising activities. Although we exist to provide a comfortable and safe place for LGBTQ people, we do not discriminate—everyone is welcome.

Texas Has A Hoedown In It!
The Best Little Hoedown in Texas is coming up April 16, 2015 in Dallas at the Round Up. They will be hosting one of two regional dance competitions. The other regional and Finals will be hosted in Houston by our own Neon Boots Dancehall and Saloon.
The Details, schedule and award prizes are being worked out for the Houston Regionals. We anticipate the Houston Regionals to be held after Houston Pride. The dance categoiries include 2-Step, Waltz and Line Dances. So this is your chance to dust off your boots and brush up on your moves.
If you're interested, please contact our Membership Chair for further details. Plus, if your looking for a dance partner, let us know. We will work to help find your Fred or Ginger.
